Below are a few commonly asked questions   

1. If I get a quarter of beef which quarter do I get? 

When you receive a quarter of beef you actually are getting half of a side of beef.  This means that you are receiving the same cuts as anyone else would get, however with a quarter you just receive half of the weight.  

2. Does the price per pound include processing of the meat? 

The price on the website does include all of the processing fees.  

3. What cuts will I get?

The cuts of meat that you will receive depend mainly on your personal preference, the processing plant where the meat is taken does custom butchering.  So they will cut the meat anyway you would like it.  Typically a few cuts you receive would be t-bone steaks, ribeye steaks, delmonico steaks, minute steaks, among various other steak cuts.  You would also receive roasts, stew meat, hamburger both bulk and patties.  These are all typical cuts, although as I said it all depends on what your personal preference is. 

4. How do I put in an order for meat? 

Simply all you have to do is e-mail or call and say what it is that you would like to order for example a  side of beef, whole hog etc.  I will then give you a time to expect a call from the processing plant they will ask you how you would like it cut up, then when the meat is ready I will set up a time that fits in your schedule and we will deliver the meat.  

5. How many steaks will I get?

The amount of steaks that you will receive has a lot to do with you thick they are cut and how many different steaks cuts you would like out of the beef.  Typically between the roasts and the steaks that makes up about 50% percent of the beef, the rest being hamburger.
