How to place an order for beginners

1.  Decide the quanity of meat that you would like
To place an order all that you need to do is decide how much you will need to last you for around eight months to a year.  Its good to pick an amount that will last long enough so that you are not continously ordering every six months or so; in case we for some odd reason do not have enough orders at that time to send in a whole other animal.  Which would result in you waiting for a longer period of time to receive your next order.  An eight to twelve month supply will also give you plenty of time to get in contact with us so that we can arrange another processing date, to get you your next order as soon as possible.

2.  Send us an e-mail via the contact form below
After you have decided how much meat you will need, you then need to e-mail us via the contact form below and find out when our next processing date would be.  Also keep in mind that once we have made the appointment and the animals reach the processing plant it is an extra two weeks for the processing.  Because the beef have to hang for about ten to twelve days before they can be cut up.  In total a good rule of thumb is to be prepared to wait about six to eight weeks from the time that you place your order with us and the time that the meat is in your freezer.

3.  Give the processing plant your cutting instructions
After we e-mail you back, stating when are next processing date is, all you then have to do is wait for an e-mail from me stating that the animals have been dropped off at the processing plant.  About ten days after the e-mail the women that owns the processing plant (Bea) will give you a call and ask for your cutting directions, if your new at this do not worry Bea makes it as easy as possible and is willing to answer any questions that you might have.

4.  Set up a time for pick up or delivery
After you have given her your cutting directions, simply wait another couple of days for an e-mail from me that says the meat has been cut up and is ready for pick up/ delivery.  From there we will together set up a day that works for you to either pick up the meat form the processing plant, the farm or have it delivered directly to your house.  This is when we would also collect payment for the meat, again since we are a small farm all we accept are checks and cash
.
